A quick and dirty comparison of the original Game Boy World capture solution versus the new setup. In both cases, you're looking at a Super Mario Land cartridge running through a Super Game Boy. The old solution used a Retroduo Portable clone system running through composite video; the new approach involves an RGB modded Super NES jr. running through a Framemeister mini converter. The difference is pretty obvious — aside from some sort of line noise in the silent portions, the modded original hardware is vastly superior in terms of video quality and audio fidelity. Now I need to step up my video editing skills to match, I suppose.
